About the Role
Our client is hiring a QA/QC Electrical Engineer to ensure the quality compliance of all electrical works within high-rise building projects.
You will be responsible for inspecting installations, supporting commissioning, and coordinating with DEWA and relevant consultants to secure approvals and ensure handover readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Perform QA/QC inspections for lighting, power distribution, switchgear, panels, earthing, and LV systems.
Ensure compliance with DEWA standards, project drawings, BOQs, and material specs.
Manage IRs, NCRs, and prepare snag lists for closure.
Witness and document testing & commissioning of electrical systems (IR testing, insulation resistance, continuity, etc.).
Liaise with consultants, DEWA, DCD, and main contractors to obtain sign-offs.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation and support final handover activities.
Monitor and document corrective actions for any deviations or site issues.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
5–6 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within UAE high-rise projects.
Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD) and regulatory compliance.
Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and reporting for electrical systems.
Completed at least 2 full-cycle electrical projects.
Understanding of NOC processes and DEWA coordination.
Must be currently based in the UAE with a stable employment background.
Available to join immediately and provide salary documentation or SOA.
